HubSpot and Joblogic Integration for a Service Business

How Intergage helped React Specialist Cleaning connect operational delivery with customer, commercial and reporting visibility.

See Case Study Below

Integration Overview

This integration was designed to connect Joblogic, where operational work and job-level activity are managed, with HubSpot, where customer, commercial and reporting visibility could be structured more effectively.

At a practical level, the integration was intended to:

1
Connect operational and commercial data more reliably
2
Reduce manual checking and rekeying between systems
3
Make important job and customer information more visible in HubSpot
4
Improve reporting by giving leadership a clearer view across service delivery and commercial activity
5
Create a more dependable flow of information between day-to-day operations and wider business oversight

The Challenge

Joblogic held the reality of day-to-day delivery. HubSpot needed to provide clearer customer, commercial and reporting visibility. Without a proper integration, leadership was left piecing together commercial information across systems, manual checks increased, and confidence in the commercial data was harder to maintain.

  • The pipeline was difficult to report on without manual checks
  • Each system had it's own version of the truth
  • Leadership lacked a reliable view of customers, jobs and commercial performance.

The obvious answer was to connect HubSpot and Joblogic. But done badly, that would only move the problem around.

Before any build could be trusted, React Specialist Cleaning needed clarity on what should sync, when it should sync, how records should relate and which system should own each part of the process.

That is why the work started with consultancy, not configuration.

The Solution

  • Consultancy to Unpick the Real Requirement
Before designing the integration, we worked with React Specialist Cleaning to unpick the requirement properly. This consultancy period was crucial because the request was not simply to pass data between HubSpot and Joblogic. We clarified the commercial and operational outcomes the client needed, the events in Joblogic that should trigger updates in HubSpot, the records and data points that needed to sync and the information leadership and teams needed to see day to day. Just as importantly, we established where ownership should sit for key fields and updates and how the integration would affect reporting, handover and practical usage across the business.
  • Integration Design
Once the requirements were clear, we translated them into an integration design that could be implemented with confidence. This meant defining the role each platform would play, the direction of data flow between HubSpot and Joblogic, the logic for when records should be created or updated, the fields and statuses that mattered most, the guardrails needed to reduce duplication and protect data quality. At this stage, HubSpot was not treated as a disconnected reporting tool. It was designed as the commercial execution system that could receive, structure and surface the right information from Joblogic in a way the wider business could really use.
  • Build and Implementation
With the design agreed, we completed the integration between HubSpot and Joblogic. Because the discovery and consultancy work had already resolved the critical questions, the build phase was able to focus on implementation quality rather than retrofitting decisions mid-project. The result was an integration designed to reduce manual effort, improve confidence in the data and give the client a more dependable connection between operational activity and commercial visibility.
  • Making the Integration Useful in Practice
A successful integration is not defined by whether two systems technically connect. It is defined by whether the business can rely on the outcome. That is why the work was about more than synchronisation. The integration created a clearer operational pathway between the work being managed in Joblogic and the customer, reporting and commercial processes being managed in HubSpot. That made the technology more useful to the leadership team and more practical for the people expected to use it day to day.
