Our Commitments To You
Purposeful growth doesn’t happen by accident.
It comes from having the right people with skin in the game, working towards the same goals and being honest with each other along the way.
That’s why we’ve written down what working with Intergage should feel like. These seven commitments guide every Intergager, on every client engagement.
Whether you're considering working with us or you've been with us for years, this is what you can expect – and we want you to hold us to it.
1. We'll ask why before we ask how
We dig into your business, your customers and how you actually make money before we suggest a solution. It's rarely a shortage of tactics that's holding growth back, it's a lack of clarity about what's really going on. So that's where we start, even when it means pushing back on the brief we're given.
2. We'll keep your endgame in sight
There's a reason you're investing in change. You may be looking to grow, prepare for a sale or investment, build the value of the business or create something that thrives without depending on a handful of people. Whatever your destination, everything we do will be shaped to move you closer to it. That's how we want our value measured.
3. We'll get to know your business and your people
We won't sit back and wait to be briefed. We'll ask questions, do our homework and stay close to what's changing in your business and your market. A strong partnership shouldn't depend on one person in your business speaking to one person in ours – we'll build relationships across your team, from senior leaders to the people closest to the day-to-day work, so our recommendations work in the real world.
4. We'll bring insight and show you the evidence
You should expect us to contribute ideas, share what we're seeing in the market and challenge your thinking when it will help. You'll always be able to see what's working, what isn't and why – because decisions made on evidence beat decisions made on instinct.
5. We’ll keep a clear, shared plan
Every engagement will have a live Mutual Action Plan we can both see and contribute to. It will set out what needs to happen, who owns each action and when it's due – and everything in it will connect back to the outcomes we've agreed together. You'll always know what's happening, what's expected and what comes next.
6. We'll communicate openly and hold ourselves accountable
You shouldn't have to chase us for an update. We'll tell you what's been completed, what's coming next and anything that could affect the plan – early, and honestly. We'll do what we say we're going to do, take responsibility when something doesn't go to plan and pay attention to how the relationship feels, not just how the project reports. If something isn't right, we'll raise it and put it right.
7. We'll earn your trust – and keep earning it
Our reputation is shaped by what it's genuinely like to work with us: the promises we keep, the care we show and the way we handle difficult moments. The best measure of our work is whether you'd happily recommend us to someone you trust. We'll earn that recommendation rather than expect it.
And one thing we'll ask of you
The best results come when you're as candid with us as we'll be with you. Tell us what's really going on, challenge us when we're wrong and share the ambitions that keep you up at night. That's what partnership looks like – and it's the kind of client we do our best work for.
