Business Development Representative
Intergage Marketing Engineers (iME) exists to help ambitious B2B win and retain better business with a precision focus and HubSpot. As our BDR, you’ll be a crucial bridge between marketing and sales, engaging with prospects early, nurturing interest and building trust until they’re ready to have a meaningful conversation with our Sales Director.

Your role is not just to generate leads. Your mission is to connect with the right people from the right businesses and guide them through their buying journey using insight, empathy and intelligent touchpoints.
The day-to-day
Engage + Nurture Inbound Leads
- Monitor website behaviour and intent signals to spot Ideal Customer profile (ICP) prospects who are warming up
- Respond to content interactions by sending timely, relevant follow-up
- Build multi-threaded engagement across buying committees (champions, influencers, blockers and decision-makers)
Create Conversations That Add Value
- Use LinkedIn, phone, email and video outreach to nurture curiosity. Not just push a meeting
- Ask thoughtful questions that identify buying signals and deepen understanding of the buyer’s needs
- Promote our webinars, events and downloadable content in context.
Become a Trusted Point of Contact
- Stay close to your accounts with a cadence that supports them through their research and buying journey.
- Be genuinely helpful, always moving them closer to clarity or a decision
- Pass qualified opportunities to the Sales Director with context, history and relationship continuity
Support the Marketing-Sales Loop
- Feed intel back to the marketing team: objections, content gaps, personas in play, buying stages
- Help identify ICP trends and content that resonates
- Use HubSpot CRM religiously to log activity, track deals, and keep pipelines squeaky clean
What You’ll Need
- Proven track record in a similar outbound or BDR/SDR role (ideally in B2B, SaaS or agency environments)
- A love of human conversation. You’ll have all the digital tools you need at your disposal, but we want someone who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and start real conversations.
- Commercial curiosity: you want to understand the challenges UK B2Bs face
- Fearless phone skills and crystal-clear writing style
- High activity mindset: you don’t wait for leads, you create opportunities
- Confident working across buying committees and handling long sales cycles
- Experience using HubSpot CRM and ZoomInfo (or similar tools) preferable
- Strong LinkedIn presence (or willing to build one) to share insights and build the iME brand
